Construction of 2.5 miles of primary state highway; bypass constructed to relieve congested from downtown Staunton. The project included excavation, storm drain retention ponds, 3 bridges and related electrical/lighting, asphalt paving, overhead sign structures, guardrails, fencing, basins, widening and realignment of 2 secondary roads and waterline and sanitary sewer improvements.

Received statewide “Construction Quality Award” from Virginia Department of Transportation to “recognize a project that epitomizes an unwavering dedication to quality.”
