Route 58, Meadows of
Dan Bypass was the first PPTA project to be completed in
Western Virginia. This new construction of approximately
3-miles of U.S. 58 for four lanes capacity bypassing the
community of Meadows of Dan consisted of limited access
highway including construction of cast-in-place concrete
arch bridge for the Blue Ridge Parkway. Project included
all phases of roadway construction along with
responsibility for engineering/design, construction
inspection, construction quality control and
environmental permitting.
