The Project consisted
of 68 lane-miles of interstate and primary roadway
including 2 interchanges at Exit 118 on I-81. In
addition 12 bridges, 5 MSE walls, 27,000 square meters
of soundwall, several miles of various dimension
drainage pipe, over 7,700 meters of barrier wall with
inset drainage structures, and approximately 1.7 million
cubic yards of excavation.
Throughout the course of the project there was 19
separate traffic switches made. Poured over 11,000 cubic
yards of concrete, drove over 16 1/3 miles of steel
piling under the 12 bridges and laid over 8 1/4 miles of
pipe.
